Victor Oladipo is coming back to Indiana.

The former Indiana Hoosiers’ star guard was traded from the Oklahoma City Thunder to the Indiana Pacers on Friday night in a deal that landed Pacers star Paul George with OKC.

Oladipo was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, starting his career with the Orlando Magic. Oladipo was traded to Oklahoma City last offseason in exchange for Serge Ibaka.

The trade is being viewed as a robbery by OKC — and it is. Oladipo makes $21 million a year, and the Pacers didn’t receive any draft picks in the trade. But at least the Pacers got a guy Indiana fans already love in Oladipo, whose jerseys will likely fly off the rack as soon as they become available.

Oladipo averaged 15.9 points and 4.3 rebounds per game for the Thunder last season, shooting 44 percent from the field and 36 percent from beyond the arc.

I’m not sure what the Pacers long-term plan is here, but hey, welcome back to Indiana, Vic.
